Parent Letter 06-26-2017

Dear Queen of Peace Families,

I hope you and yours are enjoying the summer. Warmer weather is surely on the way soon!

Attached, please find a pdf copy of our Good News – Annual Report and Appeal. (see website homepage)

Hard copies will be mailed later this week, to parishioners and alumni whose names are on the existing mailing list. We hope you enjoy the photos and information about some of the accomplishments from this past school year.

We are sending this to you via email in order to reduce costs. Please feel free to forward copies of this email and attachment to other friends and alums of Queen of Peace School. If you know of anyone who should be added to our mailing list, please let us know.

A limited number of hard copies will be available in the parish office next week. Donations received through the appeal will be applied toward covering the costs of printing and mailing the reports, and also to help with the school budget for the coming academic year.

In case you haven’t heard, we are very pleased to welcome several new staff members as well as our returning staff for the 2017-18 school year:

  • Mrs. Desiree Hagenbeck will be joining our Preschool team as the assistant and she will also work with students in After-School Club.
  • Mrs. Abby Weix will be joining us as the teacher of Second Grade and of preparing students for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion.

We also expect to have an Art teacher on board for the coming year.

On the address page of the Good News, you may notice a copy of a new school logo that is to be used on some new “school wear” this Fall. More details are to come.

Best wishes and prayers for God’s blessings to all!
