Parent Letter 11-16-2017

Dear Queen of Peace families,

Thank you to everyone who helped with setting up and serving at the reception after Mass last Friday, as we celebrated Veteran’s Day! Also, we offer our thanks to the veterans that came over to classrooms and shared some of their stories, helping our students understand the sacrifices they have made in serving our country.

We also want to thank our Room reps, for helping to coordinate the tasks involved with celebrating Veteran’s Day, and for the upcoming Home for the Holidays event and the Reception after our Christmas concert. Our Room Reps for this year are listed below.
Their “assignment” is to recruit and coordinate volunteer parent helpers from each classroom. Please be ready to “answer the call” with a Yes, when help is needed. We thank everyone in advance for taking part!  😊

This year’s Room Reps:

  • Preschool – Bekah Swanson
  • Kindergarten – Emily Tracy and Melissa Harper
  • 1st Grade – Jennifer Shepherd and Amber Terch
  • 2nd Grade – Gina Huls
  • 3rd Grade – Brooke Lee
  • 4th Grade – Shari Gentilini
  • 5th and 6th Grades – Pam Dearborn

Our delivery date for wreaths is TODAY, THURSDAY, November 16, 2017.

Thank you to all Parents and Volunteers!

Our wreath committee has asked me to let everyone know that we are still in need of more volunteers on delivery day, Thursday Nov 16th. Please come and help!

Thank you!

Please call the school office, if you have any questions. (218-879-8516)

*** Dinner with Santa is almost 2 weeks away! Please take a look at the sign-up sheet in the main hallway. If you’ve got baking skills or are crafty, please contribute some festive baked goods to add to our bake sale or homemade crafts to sell at the event! We would greatly appreciate your contribution!! Both items can be dropped off Friday December 1st after dropping off children at school. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

Thank you!

Brooke Lee
