Come and join the Queen of Peace pre-grades program.

Our school has been awarded four stars by Parent Aware. Our preschool is a mixed age program (ages 3-5 ), and creates individualized learning experiences within all pre-grades student groups.We have developed a learning environment where professional and caring staff help children grow their full mental, physical and spiritual potential. As teachers, we meet the needs of each student through content-rich learning experiences and proven teaching techniques.  Throughout the core curriculum, emphasis is placed on faith integration, creative thinking, gross and fine-motor skills, speaking proficiency, problem solving and social-skills development.  The pre-grades program at Queen of Peace Catholic School is fully aligned, ensuring that students move seamlessly from pre-kindergarten to kindergarten.  The curriculum includes:

  • Catholic virtues and customs (using the Virtues in Practice and the Spirit of Truth programs)
  • Learning the value of the self, as God’s child created in His image
  • Readiness skills (including social-skills and fine-motor skills)
  • Foundations in literacy and numeracy (using Singapore Math and the Logic of English literacy curriculum)
  • Physical education (gross-motor skills)
  • Music (liturgical song)
  • Foreign language (Spanish)
  • Library
  • Art
  • Access to Special Ed Services
